Waiakea Grows 4000 Percent

The competition in the water bottled industry is fierce. There is no doubt about that. Ryan Emmons, apart from being one of the youngest entrepreneurs in this popular field, was only 22 when he Waiakea springs. His first year, he barely sold 1500 cases of water. Last year, however, he sold over 2700 cases with ease.

Crunchbase reported that by 2015, WaiakeaWater had a growth of at least 4000 percent, which is incredible. In order too to celebrate what Waiakea spring has achieved, the beverage company will launch new manufacturing facilities in Hawaii.

Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water has a value of more than $10 million. Also, according to Forbes, the beverage company has a yearly growth of more than 170 percent. And thanks to such capital gains, Emmons will be able to continue with his philanthropic donations.

According to Forbes, since WaiakeaWater was founded, Emmons has donated over 500 million liters of drinkable water to poor African communities.

One of the policies of Waiakea Water is to donate about 600 liters of water for every liter that it sells through Pump Aid. For several years, Waiakea has been working with Pump Aid in order to help Sub-Saharan African communities.

What has made Emmons so successful? For starters, Emmons founded his beverage company on a triple bottom line platform, something very unique in today’s business world. This explains why Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water was one of the first companies in the bottled water industry to be recognized by The CarbonNeutral Company. Waiakea also only utilizes RPET for its bottles.

Not only that, but this water is said to come from the Mauna Loa. The water passes through thousands of feet of volcanic rock, which explains its mineral content.

Due to high demands, Waiakea Water will start doing business in two new continents. Currently, about 30 American states carry this company’s products.

Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water is also partnered with a co-packaging facility from Long Beach, California. The prices on Waiakea’s products are also not high. One can expect to pay about $3 for a full litter.
